Winter Blast December 26-31 2010

So while all of us were enjoying our new Christmas presents in our nice WARM homes...  Ethan, Ammon, Nephi and Lamar were at winter blast for the week.  When we signed them up for the scout camp who knew it would be in the 20's for almost every night.  After all this is Florida last time I checked.  They had a great time from what I hear.  I don't know if they would say other wise.  At the end of the week they did a "polar plunge" which at that point it made it out of the 50's for them.

Football Football Football

 There has been a whole lot of football going on in our house.  Riley decided to try flag football and LOVED it.  Well he at least liked it better than soccer after all.  Here are some of his picture of the season.  The coach told me the other day Riley comprehension of the game was great; his ability will catch up. 

Ethan has been playing tackle football and his season has been great for him.  He is growing as a player and has finally learned what he should be doing.  Still needs to get more aggressive but doing great.  He did get his first SACK which earned him a $100 and moved him to first string. 

Now that the boys season's are almost ending it's time for my season to get started.....

Ethan's Birthday Party

The best party of a summer birthday having a swimming party.  The worst party of a summer birthday having it storm during you pool party.  Here we are trying to wait out the storm with food, cake and ice cream.  We also opened presents.  The pool finally opened and stayed open for all of 15 minutes before more lightening.  The storm won.  BUT everybody had a good time.
